Also, someone might want to look into the guidelines for conducting a fundraiser for Wounded Warrior Project. From reading their site, it looks like we can only use the "Proud Supporter" logo that they give you when you sign up to do a fundraiser. If that's true, then the logo currently on the flier is not allowed. Just thought I'd mention it before a bunch are printed up...don't need the club getting sued.

We will be having an organizational meeting for the Chrome Show next Wednesday, February 17th.
Everyone is welcome to attend and provide suggestions, ideas and input.
Look for an email from me in the next couple of days announcing the location and time.

Just another fly to add to the ointment. How will the pre-registrants be paying? Mailing a check, pay-pal, bringing printed form on the day of the event and then paying??????
Just something else to think about.
So glad that I am not the Treasurer anymore....Have a ball with this one Roland.

Sandy, when someone registers via the online form, an email will be generated and we will have a record of the registration the day of the show. The participants that pre-register will be paying their fee the day of the show. With the paper trail the online form generates, it will be a simple task to keep track of the funds. With all money collected the day of show, the accounting will be easy to handle.

Michael and I have decided to reschedule the Chrome Show organizational meeting from this evening to next Wednesday. I apologize for any last minute change in plans this may have caused anyone. With today being Ash Wednesday, we thought it may be better to meet next week. Here are the details for next week:

When - Wednesday, February 24th.

Time - Approx. 6:30 p.m.

Place - Bandana's BBQ in Collinsville, IL

We have some great news to discuss about sponsors and plans for the upcoming benefit Chrome Show your STAR Chapter is hosting. Please feel free to join us for dinner, and some brainstorming for the bike show! We hope to see you then!

(Would it be overly optimistic to hope for riding weather by next Wednesday?)

Roland, I don't see this being any more difficult or involved than the accounting for the Illinois State STAR Rally we hosted a couple of years ago. Collectively, we have the brain power to keep it straight..........I think!
